Here are some math education resources that we would like to share with you:
- Washington University Math Circle
Professor Blake Thornton of Washington University runs a cool program that meets on Sundays. While this is primarily aimed toward middle school students, high school students are encouraged to attend as well. - IMACS
IMACS provides programming for elementary school students that leads directly into the MEGSSS program material. The also provide other after-school enrichment in computer programming and other math-related topics. Unlike MEGSSS, IMACS is a “for profit” company. Doug Hunt, the local director of IMACS, is a MEGSSS alum. - Southern Baptist University Math Links
This link is to Dr. Kevin Hopkins listing of math-related websites and resources. Dr. Hopkins refers St. Louis students to us and has a link to MEGSSS on this page. Thanks, Dr. Hopkins! - Khan Academy Math Resources
These are excellent math resources for more advanced math students. Khan Academy is a 501(c)3 with a mission of providing a world-class education to anyone, anywhere. -
